Hero MotoCorp has launched a new feature-rich variant of India's best-selling motorcycle Splendor Plus.

The new Hero Splendor + XTEC has been launched in India with an ex-showroom price of Rs 72,900. This bike is a top range variant in the Splendor + range and is getting a lot of hi-tech features along with some updates.

The new Hero Splendor + XTEC features an all-digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity and offers many features including SMS and call alerts, twin trip meters and real-time mileage indicators.
It also has a USB charging port and side-stand engine cut-off feature. However, the mechanics are intact and it is powered by a 97.2 cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, FI motor that generates 7.9 hp and 8.05 Nm of torque, paired with a 4-speed gearbox.
Splendor + XTEC is offered in four different color schemes, including Sparkling Beta Blue, Canvas Black, Tornado Gray and Pearl White. The motorcycle also gets new graphics on the body panels and an LED DRL on the headlamps.
